Another of the programme covers had to be typographic. I came up with the idea of a ransom note style because the two families in the play were feuding. Originally I had ripped letters quickly out of a newspaper but I decided to re-do this by cutting the letters out to show that it had taken time to do this. This was because the feud between the families had been going on for a really long time. I chose to use the quote “Two households both alike in dignity” because not only does it start off the play it, with the help of the ransom note style, suggests that there are two families fighting against each other. This quote is also so well known that it makes people instantly know it is related to Romeo and Juliet.
